Door Policy
1. Age & ID Verification
- Minimum Age: All guests must be 18 years or older to enter. Accepted IDs include valid passports, UK driving licenses, or government-issued ID cards.
- ID Checks: Guests are required to present valid ID upon entry. Refusal to provide ID will result in denied entry.
2. Dress Code
- Smart Casual: Viaduct encourages a fashionable appearance. No sportswear, workwear, or attire with offensive language or imagery will be allowed.
- Inclusive Environment: Viaduct embraces diversity and personal expression. However, management reserves the right to deny entry if attire is deemed inappropriate.
3. Guest Lists & Reservations
- Priority Entry: Guests on Viaduct’s official guest list or holding reservations receive priority entry but must still adhere to all entry policies.
- No Guaranteed Entry: Being on the guest list or holding a reservation does not guarantee entry, which is subject to venue capacity and behaviour requirements.
4. Prohibited Items & Security Checks
- Bag and Coat Checks: Random bag checks may be conducted by security for safety. Guests are encouraged to leave large bags at home due to limited cloakroom space.
- Prohibited Items: No weapons, illegal substances, or outside beverages are permitted on the premises. Such items will be confiscated, and entry will be refused.
5. Barred Individuals
- Enforcement of Barred List: Viaduct maintains a strict barred list; individuals on this list will be denied entry without exception.
- Indefinite Barred Individuals: Those barred indefinitely will not be granted access, and management cannot overridden this status.
- Incident Documentation: Door staff will log any barred individuals attempting entry for reference.
6. Entry Refusal
- Management Discretion: Viaduct reserves the right to deny entry at the discretion of door staff or management, with possible reasons including:
- Excessive intoxication
- Aggressive or disrespectful behaviour
- Non-compliance with dress code or guest list policy
- Safety concerns
7. Re-entry Policy
- Restrictions on Re-entry: Guests leaving after midnight may not be permitted re-entry unless approved by management.
8. VIP Entry
- Dedicated Entry for VIPs: VIP guests enjoy priority entry but must still comply with all entry requirements, including age, dress code, and behaviour standards.
9. Capacity & Venue Control
- Capacity Compliance: Viaduct adheres to strict capacity limits. A “one in, one out” policy will apply once capacity is reached.
- Event-Specific Access: During special events, entry will be limited to ticket holders or those on designated lists.
10. Handling Disputes
- Conflict Resolution: Door staff serve as the first point of contact for entry disputes. Unresolved issues may be escalated to management.
11. Safety & Security
- CCTV Monitoring: Viaduct is equipped with CCTV at all entry points and within the venue. Footage is regularly reviewed for safety.
- Incident Logging: Incidents related to entry refusals or security concerns will be recorded in an incident log for internal review.
